• Subscriptions are billed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your card details.
• We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising.
• You can delete your scans and projects on your device, delete your account, and control camera and photo permissions in your device settings at any time.

2. Overview and Scope

Site Safety AI is a native iOS application that lets you photograph a jobsite and receive AI-generated hazard analysis (potential hazards, severity, and suggested fixes), as well as chat with an AI assistant about construction safety topics. We also operate a marketing website where you can request a demo, ask about volume access, or contact us.

This policy applies to information we collect through the app, through our website, and through interactions with us by email. It describes the categories of data we handle, why we handle it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.

Several core features of Site Safety AI rely on third-party services, including Google (for AI analysis and web-search grounding), Firebase (a Google service, for accounts), and Apple (for subscriptions and billing). When your data is processed by these providers, their own privacy policies also apply, in addition to this policy.

3. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information, depending on how you use the Service. We do not ask for and do not intend to collect more sensitive categories of personal information (such as government IDs, precise geolocation, health data, or financial-account numbers).

• Account information: If you create an account, we collect your email address through Firebase Authentication (Google), which manages your sign-in credentials. If you use guest mode, the app creates an anonymous Firebase session that lets you use the Service without providing an email; this anonymous session is tied to your app installation rather than to your identity.
• Photos and images you analyze: When you photograph or select a jobsite image for hazard analysis, that photo is sent to Google's Gemini API to generate AI results (see Section 5). Photos may incidentally contain people, faces, license plates, signage, or documents that happen to be in frame; you control what you capture.
• Chat content and uploaded documents: When you use the chat feature, your messages and any documents you choose to upload (such as PDFs or images) are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate responses. The chat may also use Google Search grounding (web search), which can return cited web sources.
• Subscription status: If you subscribe, Apple processes your payment and provides us with your subscription status (for example, active, in free trial, or expired). We do not receive or store your full payment-card number or billing details.
• Device-local data: Your scans, projects, and the associated images are stored locally on your device. This content stays on your device unless it is sent to a third-party provider as part of a feature you use (for example, sending a photo to Gemini for analysis).
• Website form data: If you submit our sales, volume, or demo form on the website, we collect the name, email address, and company you provide. This information is emailed to our operator so we can respond.
• Website analytics and technical data: On our website, we use standard, privacy-respecting analytics to understand general usage (such as page views and aggregate traffic). This may include limited technical information like browser type, device type, referring page, and approximate region derived from IP address.
• Communications: If you email us or contact support, we collect the contents of your message and your contact details so we can respond and keep a record of the request.
• Permissions data: With your permission, the app accesses your camera and photo library so you can capture or select images to analyze. You control these permissions in your device settings.

4. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service, and for the specific purposes below. We do not use your jobsite photos, chat messages, or uploaded documents to build or train our own AI models.

• To provide AI hazard analysis: We send your jobsite photos to Google's Gemini API to generate hazard, severity, and remediation results.
• To power the chat assistant: We send your chat messages and any uploaded documents to Google's Gemini API, and use Google Search grounding to return relevant, sometimes web-cited, responses.
• To create and manage your account: We use your email (or anonymous guest session) through Firebase to authenticate you and maintain your account and session.
• To manage subscriptions: We use the subscription status provided by Apple to unlock paid features, manage free trials, and confirm whether your subscription is active.
• To store your work: We use device-local storage to keep your scans, projects, and images available to you on your device.
• To respond to inquiries: We use website form data and email correspondence to respond to demo, sales, volume, and support requests.
• To maintain, secure, and improve the Service: We use aggregate analytics and technical data to understand usage, diagnose and fix problems, prevent abuse, and improve features.
• To comply with law and protect rights: We may use or retain information as needed to meet legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Use, and protect the rights, property, and safety of our users and others.

5. AI Processing: Content Sent to Google's Gemini API

A central feature of Site Safety AI is AI-powered analysis. To make this work, certain content you provide is transmitted to Google for processing.

When you request hazard analysis, the photo you submit is sent to Google's Gemini API. When you use chat, your messages and any documents you upload (PDFs or images) are sent to Google's Gemini API, and the chat may use Google Search grounding to retrieve and cite relevant web sources.

Because this content is processed by Google, Google's handling of that data is governed by Google's own terms and privacy policies in addition to this policy. We do not control how Google retains or processes content you submit. We encourage you to avoid including sensitive personal information, confidential business records, or third-party personal data in photos, chat messages, or uploaded documents that you do not want processed by a third-party AI provider.

AI output is assistive only and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date. It is not a substitute for a qualified safety professional's on-site inspection or for legal or OSHA-compliance advice, and you are solely responsible for safety and compliance decisions. 6. Third Parties We Share Information With

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising. We share information only with the service providers that help us operate the Service, and only as needed to provide the features you use. These providers maintain their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. We do not have a backend server of our own beyond Firebase.

• Google (Gemini API and Google Search grounding): Receives jobsite photos for hazard analysis, and chat messages plus uploaded documents for chat responses; provides web-search grounding and may return cited web sources. Governed by Google's privacy policy.
• Firebase (a Google service): Provides account authentication and stores account data such as your email address, sign-in credentials, and anonymous guest sessions. Governed by Google/Firebase's privacy policy.
• Apple (StoreKit and the App Store): Processes subscription payments and billing and provides us with your subscription status. Apple handles all billing; we do not process or store your payment-card information. Governed by Apple's privacy policy.
• Email and hosting providers: Our website contact and demo forms send your submission to our operator's email, and our website is served through standard hosting and analytics providers.
• Legal and safety disclosures: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, or property, or to investigate fraud, security, or abuse.
• Business transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

7. Subscriptions, Free Trials, and Billing

Site Safety AI offers auto-renewing subscriptions through Apple. We currently offer a Weekly plan at $9.99 per week and a Monthly plan at $29.99 per month, each starting with a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. Prices are in U.S. dollars and may vary by region or change over time; the price and billing period shown in the app at the time of purchase control.

These are auto-renewing subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Unless you cancel, your free trial automatically converts to a paid subscription, and your subscription automatically renews at the then-current price for the same period. To avoid being charged, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current free-trial or billing period. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.

You can manage, downgrade, upgrade, or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renewal, at any time in your Apple Account settings (App Store > your account > Subscriptions). Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

All payments are handled by Apple through your Apple Account. We receive your subscription status from Apple so we can provide the correct level of access, but we do not receive your full payment details. Apple's processing of your payment information is governed by Apple's privacy policy. For details specific to billing terms, see our Terms of Use.

8. Data Retention and Where Your Data Lives

Most of your scan-related content, including your scans, projects, and images, is stored locally on your device. When you delete that content on your device or uninstall the app, the locally stored content is removed from the device, subject to your device's own backup settings (for example, iCloud or local backups you have enabled).

Account data managed through Firebase (such as your email and sign-in credentials, or an anonymous guest session identifier) is retained for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify associated account data within a commercially reasonable period, except where we must retain certain information to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or enforce our agreements.

Website form submissions and email correspondence are retained for as long as needed to respond to and document your inquiry and for our legitimate business and recordkeeping needs.

Content sent to third-party providers such as Google and Apple is retained and handled according to those providers' own policies and retention practices, which we do not control.

9. Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. Account authentication is handled by Firebase, payments by Apple, and data transmitted to third-party services is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) provided by those services.

No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for safeguarding your device and your account credentials. If you believe your account or data has been compromised, please contact us at the email below.

10. Children's Privacy

Site Safety AI is intended for construction professionals and is not directed to children. The Service is not intended for, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, individuals under the age of 13 (or under 16 where a higher age threshold applies under applicable law).

11. Your Rights and Choices

You have choices and rights regarding your information. Depending on where you live, some of these rights may be legally guaranteed; we extend the core options below to all users.

• Access and correction: You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct inaccurate information.
• Deletion and account deletion: You may delete your scans and projects on your device, and you may delete your account, which removes associated account data as described in Section 8. You can request account deletion from within the app or by contacting us at the email below.
• Permissions: You can grant or revoke camera and photo library access at any time in your device settings, though some features may not work without these permissions.
• Subscriptions: You can manage, downgrade, or cancel subscriptions and free trials through your Apple Account settings.
• Communications and analytics: You can ask us not to send non-essential communications, and you may use standard browser controls (and any cookie or consent controls we offer) to limit website analytics.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on certain requests, will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights, and will respond within the time required by applicable law. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law. 13. International Users

Site Safety AI is operated in the United States and intended for users in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States and by our third-party providers, which may operate in or transfer data across multiple countries.

U.S. data protection laws may differ from those in your country and may not provide the same level of protection. By using the Service, you consent to the processing of your information in the United States and by these providers as described in this policy.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or the Service. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date below and, where appropriate, provide additional notice within the app or on our website.
